Exabeam Agentic SOC for UAE Businesses: Faster Triage

Exabeam’s October 1, 2026 release adds AI-assisted investigation, non-human activity monitoring and case correlation. Here is what those changes mean for UAE businesses.

Exabeam Agentic SOC for UAE Businesses: Faster Triage

Exabeam October 2026 release: what it adds

Exabeam’s October 2026 New-Scale release is aimed at security teams that need to investigate more activity without losing the thread between alerts, people, systems and AI agents. It adds a persistent Nova AI assistant, an Agentic SOC plugin for Claude Code and OpenAI Codex, monitoring for Claude Enterprise activity, related-case correlation, executive reporting and stronger data separation. The practical value for a UAE business is faster triage and clearer reporting, but only if the business already has the right logs and a defined process for responding to incidents.

The useful change is not that an AI tool can talk to an analyst. It is that the investigation can keep its context as the analyst moves through the work.

Exabeam Agentic SOC features for investigation and monitoring

The release, published on October 1, 2026, extends Nova AI across Threat Center, search timelines and Outcomes Navigator. Exabeam says Nova can gather background context, run secondary searches and retrieve entity profiles while retaining the conversation as an analyst moves between workflows. That is designed to reduce the need to rebuild an investigation from scratch.

The new Agentic SOC plugin provides investigative guidelines for Claude Code and OpenAI Codex. It turns threat-hunting workflows into conversational commands for alert triage, case prioritisation and investigation. The important distinction is that the plugin guides a workflow. It does not remove the need for a person to decide what should happen next.

Exabeam Related Cases adds another layer. It connects current and historical cases through shared users, hosts, IP addresses, other artefacts and investigation patterns. Analysts can review earlier notes and reuse containment playbooks where the situation is genuinely similar. The full announcement is available in Exabeam’s October 2026 release note.

What Exabeam’s release means for UAE businesses

A UAE company does not need to run a large security operations centre to face this problem. A small internal IT team may already be responsible for cloud systems, identity tools, business applications, remote access and new AI services. If those systems produce separate alerts and logs, the cost is often measured in analyst time rather than a single software bill.

The release is especially relevant where staff or software agents use legitimate credentials. Exabeam’s own explanation is that digital workers can execute normal-looking workflows at machine speed, allowing risky behaviour to blend into ordinary activity. Direct Claude Enterprise ingestion is intended to place activity logs and chat API data into a standard timeline, so a security team can establish a behavioural baseline for sanctioned AI use.

That does not mean every UAE business should buy an agentic SOC platform. It means owners should ask whether their current security process can answer three basic questions: which identity performed an action, whether the action fits its normal pattern, and whether a similar case has happened before.

How UAE owners can test Exabeam security workflows

Start with an inventory, not a product demonstration. Ask the IT lead or managed security provider which systems send logs into the current monitoring platform, whether AI tools are approved, and how incidents are escalated. Include service accounts, automation accounts and other non-human identities in that review.

Then choose one narrow test case. For example, review unusual access by a service account or investigate repeated alerts involving the same user, host or IP address. The aim is to see whether the new workflow improves the quality and speed of the investigation, not whether it produces an impressive summary.

Keep executive reporting separate from technical detail. Exabeam’s Executive Digest is designed to send recurring email reports to executives and translate security posture improvements into business outcomes. That could help a UAE owner understand trends without signing into the security interface, but the report is only as useful as the data and decisions behind it.

When an agentic SOC is not the right choice

If the business has no central log collection, no named incident owner and no agreed list of approved AI tools, an agentic SOC plugin is likely to add another layer before the basics are ready. The sensible next step is to document the important systems, identities and escalation contacts.

It is also reasonable to do nothing if the current security provider already correlates cases, monitors non-human activity and produces reports that management understands. Exabeam’s release is an option to assess, not a reason to replace a working process.

Header image and commercial note

The header image should be a custom editorial illustration of a UAE office security team reviewing one investigation timeline that links a user, a service account, a host and an AI assistant, with a restrained cybersecurity interface in the background. It should be based on the functions described in Exabeam’s announcement, not a generic padlock or server-room stock image.

Paknology has a commercial interest in helping UAE firms with software, automation and digital operations, but it does not provide a security operations centre or sell Exabeam. If your need is only to document access, improve internal workflows or connect business systems, a cheaper or simpler option may serve you better than a specialist security platform.

If this review exposes wider gaps in your business systems, the next step is to list the tools, accounts and workflows that need attention before buying anything. Where the requirement is an operational software or automation project rather than security monitoring, talk to us and describe the narrowest problem first.
