Can you get a proper business website in the UAE for under AED 2,000 a year?
Yes. Our own annual plan is AED 899 a year, and that includes the build, hosting, an SSL certificate, a domain, business email addresses and ongoing maintenance. What it does not include is a large custom application — at this price the honest scope is a well-built business website, not software.
What a fair annual price should include
- The build itself, on a platform you can move away from
- Hosting and an SSL certificate, not billed separately later
- A domain, registered in your company's name — not the agency's
- Business email addresses on your own domain
- Maintenance: updates, backups, and someone answering when it breaks
- Content changes within reason, so a price change does not require a quote
The three questions that expose a cheap website
First: who owns the domain? If the agency registers it in their own name, leaving them costs you your web address and your email.
Second: what happens in year two? A low first-year price followed by an unstated renewal is the oldest arrangement in this market.
Third: can I get the site out? If your content is locked into a builder you cannot export, the price was never the whole cost.
What this price cannot buy
A booking engine, a customer portal, a payment flow tied to your stock, or an app — these are software projects and cost accordingly. Any offer that includes them at a few hundred dirhams a year is quoting something else, and you will find out which part when you ask for it.
Our AED 899 plan is a business website: pages, forms, email, hosting, maintenance. When a client needs an application, we quote it separately and say so plainly.
